These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of AzeriTrails' website and services. By accessing our website or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. About AzeriTrails

AzeriTrails is a tourism company based in Sheki, Azerbaijan, specializing in travel services across CIS countries (excluding Russia). We provide customized travel experiences, guided tours, and travel arrangements.

3. Booking and Payment Terms

3.1 Booking Process

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
  • A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from us
  • Prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise specified
  • Prices are subject to change until booking is confirmed

3.2 Payment Terms

  • A deposit is required to secure your booking (typically 30-50% of total cost)
  • Full payment is due 30 days before travel departure
  • Payment can be made via bank transfer or other agreed methods
  • Additional fees may apply for certain payment methods

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Client

  • More than 60 days before departure: 90% refund of paid amount
  • 30-60 days before departure: 50% refund of paid amount
  • 15-29 days before departure: 25% refund of paid amount
  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund

4.2 Cancellation by AzeriTrails

We reserve the right to cancel trips due to:

  • Insufficient number of participants
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, political instability, etc.)
  • Safety concerns

In such cases, you will receive a full refund or alternative arrangements.

5. Travel Documentation

  • You are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and other required documentation
  • We can assist with visa applications but cannot guarantee approval
  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be required for certain destinations
  • Vaccination requirements vary by destination and are your responsibility

6. Health and Safety

  • You must inform us of any medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or mobility limitations
  • Some activities may have age or fitness requirements
  • You participate in activities at your own risk
  • We recommend comprehensive travel insurance including medical coverage

7. Itinerary Changes

  • Itineraries are subject to change due to local conditions, weather, or other factors
  • We will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives
  • No compensation is provided for minor itinerary modifications
  • Significant changes will be communicated in advance when possible

8. Liability and Insurance

8.1 Our Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided
  • We are not liable for delays, cancellations by third parties, or force majeure events
  • We maintain professional liability insurance as required by law

8.2 Your Responsibility

  • You are responsible for your personal belongings and safety
  • You must follow local laws and customs
  • Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, extreme weather conditions
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest, political instability
  • Government actions, border closures
  • Pandemic or health emergencies
  • Transportation strikes or failures

10. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website is protected by copyright and trademark laws
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify our content without permission
  • You grant us permission to use photos from your trip for promotional purposes

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described.

12. Dispute Resolution

  • We encourage resolution of disputes through direct communication
  • Unresolved disputes will be subject to Azerbaijan law
  • Legal proceedings must be initiated within one year of the travel date

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.
